Cindy Johnson, President
The Big Picture Marketing agency is led by Cindy Johnson, founder and president. She directs and manages the day-to-day strategic planning and operations of client campaigns. Cindy has been a marketing and media professional for over twenty years. She began her career in radio at The Loop/WLUP-FM radio station in Chicago and proceeded to work as an agent for radio personalities nationwide. Then as Director of Marketing she developed the in-house marketing departments for Lou Malnati’s and Home Run Inn Pizzerias. In 1997 Cindy founded Big Picture Marketing and has had the privilege to work with many organizations developing Advertising and Promotional Marketing campaigns including, Illinois State Board of Education, Northern Illinois University, Western Illinois University, UI Health, Chicago Department of Transportation, Chicago Park District, Illinois Department of Insurance, Illinois Department of Public Health, Chicago Office of Emergency Management and Communications, Starlight Children’s Foundation, United Cerebral Palsy, and the Regional Transit Authority.
Big Picture Marketing was part of the team awarded the Publicity Club of Chicago’s Silver Trumpet Award for the Citizen Preparedness Campaign Gear Up, Get Ready. We were also part of the team that won “Best New Plan” from the Friends of Downtown for the Chicago Union Station Master Plan. Cindy is a lifelong Chicago resident and active in her community helping produce and publicizes local events and fundraisers.
